    Beni Mellal is a city in central Morocco, at the foot of the Middle Atlas. It is the capital of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. It is home to around 193 thousand people. Although few historic buildings have survived, the small medina is worth exploring. Every Tuesday a traditional market draws crowds and offers a chance to get to know local culture. The climate is temperate, with warm summers and mild winters. The best times to visit are spring and autumn, when temperatures are more comfortable.
